My card isn't in the list. Can I still track it?
Yes. On the My Cards tab, tap + Add a card manually below the search box. Enter the card's name and annual fee, then use + Credit and + Benefit on the card to add each statement credit and perk yourself. Manually added cards work exactly like built-in ones.
Where is my data stored? Does it sync?
Everything stays on your device. There is no account and no server, so nothing syncs between an iPhone and an iPad, and deleting the app deletes its data. See the privacy policy for details.
A card's fee or credits are wrong.
Built-in card details are starting estimates — issuers change terms often. Tap the card, then Edit to correct the annual fee, or tap edit on any credit to fix its amount or how often it resets. Your changes are kept. If you spot something out of date, email us and we'll update it for everyone in the next release.
How do reminders work?
ValueStack schedules reminders on your device for credits you haven't used yet — 7 days before a monthly credit resets, 14 days for quarterly, and 30 days for half-yearly and yearly ones. When several fall on the same day they're grouped into a single notification. Checking a credit off cancels its reminder. You can turn notifications off any time in iOS Settings.
What does "Earns its fee" mean?
It compares what you've actually checked off this year against the card's annual fee. The bar is red until you've recovered half the fee, orange up to the full fee, and turns green with an "Earns its fee" badge once your captured value passes it.
I updated the app and my card's details didn't change.
Cards keep the details they had when you added them, so app updates never overwrite your edits. To pick up refreshed built-in data for a card, remove it and add it again.
How do I erase everything?
Tap the Private badge or the ⓘ icon at the top of the app, then Reset all data. This clears every card, check-off, and referral link from the device and cannot be undone.

I bought the unlock but the places are still locked.
Open Settings (the gear on the title screen) and tap Restore purchases. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account rather than to one device, so this is also what to do on a new phone, after reinstalling, or if a purchase was interrupted. If the row still says Failed, check you're signed in to the App Store with the account you bought on.
What costs money?
Night Canal is free and complete, on all three difficulty tiers. One optional purchase, paid once, opens Orbit, Amazonia and Midtown, and every place added later is included with it. There's no subscription, no ads and nothing else to buy. Every place plays identically: the physics, the wind and the scoring are the same everywhere, so a paid place is a different place to play, not an easier or a better one. The daily challenge visits every place, including ones you haven't unlocked, and is free for everyone.
Where are my high scores kept? Do they sync?
On your device, one best score per difficulty. There's no sign-up and no server of ours, so scores don't move between an iPhone and an iPad, and deleting the app deletes them. Purchases are the exception — those live with your Apple Account and come back with Restore purchases. If you're signed in to Game Center, your best scores and daily results also go to Apple's Game Center leaderboards. See the privacy policy.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Everything plays without it, including the daily challenge. Game Center only adds the rankings: sign in (from the iPhone Settings app, or when the game asks) and your daily and best scores appear on its leaderboards.
How do I reset my high scores?
Settings → Reset high scores, then tap the row a second time to confirm. It clears every difficulty at once and can't be undone. It does not affect your purchase, or scores already on Game Center.
The game is silent, and the haptics aren't working.
Emberwick has no audio at all — that's deliberate, so it can be played anywhere without headphones. Haptics can be switched off in Settings; if they're on and you still feel nothing, check that iPhone Settings → Sounds & Haptics → System Haptics is enabled.
